    back at last

    Well looks like i took alittle vaction. I did watch the rest of biggest loser and was happy with that out come!! Ali rocks..What she did was totally amazing!
    I lost and gained over the past months. It's so hard to stay commited! Even though you know your are doing something that will be rewarding and so good for your health.
    I have stopped drinking pop completely. We do not keep it at our house anymore!
    My partner and I have joined a gym and do enjoy the physical challenges!!
    I had gained weight while i was not going to the gym and had not been coming and updating the site. At one point i got up to 220 lbs. But now im down to 194.
    We are spending at least 1 hour on the treadmill, and are trying to burn at least 500 calories. It's alot of walking for a short little fat girl!! But it is getting easier! i have 4 different excercises i do every other day. Cardio every time i go..at least the 500 calories. It's hard. It's a commitment!!
    I've had to get off my butt and really work at this!!
    My girlfriend is my inspriation!!!! She's so supportive and got me the membership at the gym!! She has lost 17 lbs!! She is not as overweight as i am. Thank goodness, but she had put on some weight. She's getting smaller before my eyes.
    It's nice because people are starting to notice that im losing alittle weight. It makes you feel good when they do!
    Well hopefully im done with running away from this problem. I've been working so hard and im starting to see it pay off.
    No stopping me now!!!!

    last chance blog

    I waited to blog this week because i gained back 2lbs and it upset me. 
    I did it though. Not staying with my plan. I did increase my calorie intake to 1500 because
    I think it will help me burn more calories.  
    I did not walk last week. That is why i did not lose. I gained because i couldnt stay away from
    the snacks. I have the 100 cal snacks....but u know that only works if you eat only one
    serving. Not 3 or 4 a night.
    I did start eating blueberrys. YUM! Fresh blue berry's are so good for you. Just a small handful. You
    could eat 5 small handfuls a day if you wanted. I've been trying to eat more fresh fruit. We are
    not big raw veggie eaters..But....i love almost all veggies cooked.
    I will do better. I lost my way. But I know i have to continue and not quit!
    This is  a hard thing we are doing. I have faith in Diane. I know it may take us some time to
    get there but we will make our goals!!!

    rough weekend. I am going to go see about joining

    04 weigh in

    Great weekend. Did not stick to planned diet but did pretty good. I did not lose any
    weight but I'm still happy with what I am doing. My plan for the week is to walk 3 miles at least 3 times  this week and to do some muscle toning at least 3 times this week.
    To continue to watch my calories. I feel like part of the reason im not getting  bigger #'s is because I'm not eating enough  so i will increase to 1200 and see how that goes along with the excersise.

    FEBRUARY!!!

    Wow wee! Time sure flies!
    I did not do good this week Sad I hope i did not gain any weight. I will have to be careful this weekend!
    I did not work out like i should have.
    I will do better starting now!
    I've been visiting some other pages today. Everyone is about the same. Excited about the contest!  We have the biggest loser to encourage us. We have each other. We have
    friends and family to support us. We have put ourselves on the www.
    We all share the same struggles. Food being the biggest one! Finding time or the will to work out is another.
    That was my problem big time this week. It was cold. I hate walking on the treadmill it makes my hips hurt.
    I love walking outside but it was to cold for that. I did start some new exercises that i found on msn health
    site. To help strenghthen my core. But I only did them one night. Kinda intense workout for me. But i will keep
    at it im sure it will become easier.

    Biggest Loser 1/29

    Well the show was interesting. I think it's great that Dan was the biggest loser. I hate that Dan and Jackie are on the blue team.
    Although i love Bob..jillian is my favorite. Would love to have her motivating me for 4 month..heck ya...i could drop some lbs for sure.
    She did a great job last year with the underdogs ..and hopefully will beable to get team black motivated and in gear to kick some
    blue hinny!!!
    So go Black!!!!! Even though the blue team is alot bigger im hoping that works out in the blues favor. Just have to get the right challenge.
    Dan will be hard to beat though..The kid is great. If he won i would be ok with that. But...my black team must win!!!! I'm counting on them!!
    I know they can...look at the low #'s this week for the brothers...not that great. But then....they didnt get a 0 or gain 3lbs either.
    The players formerly known as the yellow team need to get their butts in gear. Paul and Kelly proved they can do better. I think the
    other members of the team need to tell them to get with it. They were lucky last night, he's the heaviest they have , she is too. they are
    going to have to step up...to keep the team safe!!
    I think Diane did ok this week. 2 lbs is better than gaining. I know she did her best and watched what she ate. I look for bigger #'s next
    week. Keep it up Diane!! We can't give up. We want to be the biggest losers on the million lb challenge!!!

    Diane's wiegh day! week 2

    I lost 2lbs, still behind Suzy by 8lbs. Surprised
    I was surprised to only lose 2lbs I have done really
    good this week. It does make you upset when
    you see low numbers, but you have to keep
    on and hope for bigger numbers next week.
    I hope every body had a better week than me!

    Man...whew!! 2lbs. But hey..it's better than putting on 2. I'm happy with it.
    You just never know what the scale will say.
    I will just keep doing what ive been doing. I have started eating breakfast. Oatmeal, Love the bananabread...yummmy!!!
    They keep saying it's important to eat to help burn calories. So i started eating breakfast and not waiting so long to eat in
    the morning....we will see next week if that works.

    THE WEEKEND!!!

    Here we are again the weekend. I love weekends, but at the sametime they are hard. Alot of temptations. But i will stay strong and make the
    right choices. I wanted to stop at MC D's yesterday and get a sausage biscuit and coke for breakfast. But I thought about
    how much effort I'm putting into this and i decided the sausage biscuit really isnt that great!!! And i saved myself 630 calories!!!!
    It's going to be good weather here today. I'm looking forward to walking my 3 miles outside. I just cant do three miles on the treadmill. At least
    not yet. I would rather walk outside and listen to my ipod! Listening to music helps!!
    I've done good this week. I did have some hard candy, I love the Cambridge & Thames Cherry Drops...They are 44 cals for 10 of them..I had 5 this week so i dont think that was bad.
    I use to smoke so doing something with my hands....u know..like eating took the place of that. But....I'm finding ways to redirect my fingers Wink.
    Even playing with a rubber band helps. Or silly putty, it helps relieve stress too, like a stress ball. Just squeeze it...or pull it.....ya..good times!!
    I'm a tvholic so I would just sit and watch tv. And eat. I would diet, lose 10 to 20 lbs and then start cheating and never make it work.
    So what's different this time? Biggest loser!!!! It really helped me see that it can be done. Support from my family and friends. And I WANT TO DO THIS!!!!
    It's like when i stopped smoking, You gotta want to stop. I havent ready to give up the foods that made me fat and kept me fat. Do I still wanna eat fried chicken and have a pepsi. Hell yeah!!! But i still wanna smoke sometimes too....But...i dont. Thats how i know i can do this now.
    Sometimes it's hard to get motivated but i just remember why im doing this. I want me back. I want to be here to watch my grandchildren grow
    up and graduate college! I want to enjoy their childhoods with them. Going to the zoo, or the park and actually playing with them instead of sitting and watching.
    That's my motivation

    I had to wait to blog after the biggest loser tuesday because i couldnt believe ali and betty sue got voted off!!!
    Very tricky show!! Good for the yellow team..they did a great job coming back. I cant say that i agree with the
    strategy but i wasnt there so i wont judge. Seems like it would have been better just to vote the black team out
    and not throw the weigh in. But...whatever.
    I dont like the idea of throwing a weigh in because YOU DONT LOSE WEIGHT THAT WEEK!!
    WE will have to see next week how the orange team recovers. The black team is going to be gunning for them
    for sure.
    Interesting how the game always changes, just in the nick of time to save the black team. Those guys are lucky.
    But something about Mark. I dont think he made a very good impression with folks. Plus 2 guys..brothers..sound familar?
    At least they arent twins. I just hope this group takes care of it soon enough to stop them from winning. Just not my pick
    I'm sure they are nice guys.
    Sounds like they need some sisters! I have one! If biggest loser is interested. They probably couldnt handle sisters because..well...
    sisters will be sisters..i dont know about everyone else but sometimes...sisters can be evil. NOT me tho..im an angel.Angel
    I love my sisters. I have 2 of them...both older. Im the baby!
    Love the show! this season is great. I love this part of it because you start noticing changes in everyone. They start getting thinner.
    It's nice to see them succeed! And inspiring!
    Half way through the week. I'm doing good. Staying with my healthy 1000 calorie diet. Have not gone over this week so far. On
    the treadmill 1 hr last night.
    It's still hard to not want to snack in the evening. Even though it doesnt push me over my calories, I would like to stop snacking.
    Not that having some 100 calorie pop corn is bad every once in a while. But when you have the pop corn and an apple and 100 calorie oreo's , that's 300 cals..I need
    to control that urge and say no. Make the right choice.
    Which I'm working on starting now. I will make the choice to have one snack in the evening before 7 pm.

    Biggest Loser

    It's biggest loser night!! I like Betty Sue and Ali, and Jackie and Dan. To me they are the most down to earth teams. I hope they are careful about mark and jay. Look what happened last year! Black team won and the 2 brothers took it all.
     The show is inspiring. I know these folks have struggled like many of us have with our weight. It's a fine line as to why they
    are there...to lose weight or to win the $. I think the girls last season made the wrong decisions and it cost them the game.
    But at the same time i know they are very proud of their accomplishments.
    Amanda and Neil hopefully will put on a good show at the finale. It upsets me that people go to the biggest loser ranch and act
    like they dont want to be there. Or are lazy on the work out machines like Neil. I could think of alot of people from the state of
    Oklahoma that would love to be on the biggert loser that would want to be there, and not only welcome the workouts but encourage
    others. Amanda looked great on the recap but neil still has alot of work to do. I will be interesting to see if he pulls his head
    out of his butt! I think it would have been motivating and embarrassing to be called, and look lazy on a national tv program. Guess we will
    see at the finale.
    The million pound match up gives everyone the opportunity to become involved without cost or having to join a club.
    It's fun to visit the other million pound match up pages and see other's progrees and leave notes of encouragement.
    I lost 13 lbs this week I know that's mostly because i stopped drinking pop.We don't eat candy bars we have the 100 cal snacks, and we
    enjoy apples so that's basically our snacks..like i said we are creatures of habit. We are making better habits!
    Great job to diane for her loss last week!!! Come and get me girl!!!!!! Bring it on!!!

    1st weigh in!

    Monday morning and this was my 1st weight in, I lost 5lbs this week! Open-mouthed

    Its been a tough week to walk its been very cold outside. Hopefully

    I will get to do more excerise this week. Weekends are also tough for

    me. With my kids playing sports and were always having something we

    have to go to. It's easier to just go thur a drive thur and get something

    fast.

    This week I am going to do more excerise, you have to exercise! I'm

    also going to make a new rule, I will not eat or drink anything after

    7:30 in the evening. 

    Suzy might be ahead of me right now, but I'll finish 1st at the end!  Tongue out

    January 19

    Weekends are hard

    Weekends are hard. I have to stay focused on my goal. I wanted to eat eat eat today. I have a few slips,i had some pop. We went
    out for lunch but are having a lite diner I know that i will have
    cravings and it's up to me to make the right choices. As Dr Phil says you cant change what you don't acknowledge. Once you understand
    that no one makes you eat that donut, you have a choice, the trick is making the right choices when you love donuts.Tongue out
    It was a buzy day I work at a phone bank for Hillary Clinton's campaign! It was fun. Haven't ever done that. But im good
    on the phone!Wink So I felt that would be the best way to help!
    We did some shopping after that so we walked alot today. Which im taking for my excercise because I did not get on the treadmill tonight.
    I'm excited about weigh in monday!! It will be nice to see our progress!
    Have you tried the fuze drinks? The slenderize is low in carbs and cals and is a great tasting treat!
    Not much else going on. Just working on the Website. Hoping Biggest loser will notice and we will be going to the finale!!!
    Because we are working hard at being the Biggest Loser! I'm competive and I can't believe that I'm saying I want to be
    a loser. But I do!!!!!! I wanna be the biggest loser!!
    It's so cold out 21 degrees. Lordy I'm ready for spring already!! It will be here before I know it though. You know when your
    parents told you as you get older time seems shorter......wellllll its the truth....It seems time flies.
    My partner and I are pretty much creatures of habit. We can eat the same meal for weeks and be ok with it.
    I have a hard time with breakfast i know it is an important meal i work at 7am alot of times i dont eat breakfast till later in
    the morning. So i have a glass of oj before i go to work. I have yogurt for my break. Thats my breakfast.
    I try to get foods that are higher in fiber. We by low cal bread. We take a sandwich and applesause for lunch. I will take
    chips once in a while. The lays fat free are really good chips! Amazingly good! I was like NO WAY fat free chips!! NO Way can
    they taste good. I was wrong! They are good. 
    We normally have chicken for dinner, and 2 veggies. We enjoy spinach and because it's so good for us we have it a few times a week.
    Eating healthy is not a problem. It's what I do between meals that hurts me. Like I said I drank alot of pop. I'm sure more
    than three 2 liter bottles a week. More like 4 or 5. Thats alot of sugar!!
    I think im doing good. The scale will tell on monday.

    Diane's Blog!

    Hi my name is Diane, and I am Suzy’s Bff and she thinks she’s going to kick my BUTT.

    Well bring it on! Baring teeth

    4 yrs ago I weighted 145 lbs. I was very athletic growing up. 

    I have never weighted this much even when I was pregnant w/ my 2 boys.

    I have had a lot happen in past 4yrs, fighting for custody for my youngest son,

    my dad past away and when I get upset I eat and I love chocolate. I weight 232lbs.

    I would like to lose 75lbs.

    How I am planning on losing my weight is watching my carbs,

    I will watch my carb intake. I feel this works best for me because I like meat.

    If you take your kids to McDonalds all you have to do is take the bun off your hamburger.

    What I will be doing for exercise:

     I will do a lot of walking. I am planning on getting the Binder Ball.

     I can’t afford to go and pay a monthly fee at a Fitness center so all my exercise

    will be from home or when I’m at my sons sports activities.

    Diane and I are Bff's. We both have struggled with our weight over the
    years. We decided to make it a competition between us.
    It's gonna feel good to kick Dianes butt!
    I was 120lbs just 7 years ago and today, 213lbs of blubber! Embarrassed
    My goal is to lose 93 lbs.
     
    I will do this by watching my calories and giving up pop and candy.
    I cannot remember a time when I did not drink soda. Sometimes I think
    they must have put it in my bottle. I'm really  addicted to it so I made
    the choice NOT to drink it. It's been hard but I have not had any pop this year.
    I will not drink diet soda because I hear it's not really good for you and it
    makes you crave sweets. For me stopping the habit is the best way!
    I have drastically changed my eating habits. Keeping close to a 1000 calorie
    a day diet. I know that exercise is also important so have have started walking
    3 miles in an hour at least 4 times week.
    Some of my favorite things are the 100 calorie snacks from nabisco. Love those
    oreo's and I can get alittle taste of sweet but still stay within my calories!
    I changed from sugar to splenda.
    I'm learning to say no to some old friends. Chocolate, candy, Pop! I never thought
    I could go a week without eating a candy bar or drinking a pop. But I CAN!!!
    I want to set a good example for my children and grand kids so they will
    know it is possible to lose weight in a healthy way. 
    I want me back. I feel that I'm missing so much. It's the simple things I miss most.
    I want to go out and have a good time, go to football, and baseball games
    with the kids and not have so much trouble walking up stairs, or even fitting into
    the seats at the stadium. I want to go camping and hiking, and race my grandson
    down the street on Saturday afternoons. Be able to bend over and tie my shoes, or even see
    them! Embarrassed Put a bandaid on my toe without a struggle. Take the stairs at work without
    gasping for breath.
    I love Biggest loser! I thank them so much for inspiring me! Bob and Jillian! They are great!
    But the players are why I watch. I'm amazed every season!  
    I love the contest this year with the couples. Great idea! I'm so excited to be part of the Million
    Pound Match-Up!!Party
    I'm looking forward to winning and kicking my bff's butt!
